Haven’t watched that one, will give it a go.

In other Prime news, series 6 of Vikings has started and it’s a belter so far.

First three seasons were great. I@m also reading the books and am at the same point as the end of S3, sort of, in as much as it follows the book's timelines.

I'm also watching Altered Carbon, which is v good too.

I'm a big Vikings fan but the last series was pants!!! I'll give the new one a go now based on that recommendation

Absolutely loved Altered Carbon. A belter of a sci-fi series.

Just watched the first episode of series 4 and it's a cracker. Amazon have certainly put there money where their mouth is on this production, it looks great though the colour palette might grate with some people (no pun intended).

Some subtle differences from Cibola Burn, but so far it's very true to the 'flavour' of the book. Great to see the sophisticated Avasarala still has a mouth like a docker.

Just need to pace myself as I could quite happily watch the whole season in one session. :)

Mixed feelings about this season. Enjoyed it but some of the changes from the book seemed unnecessary.
Also not happy with the recasting of Arjun - too young, too severe (although that may be the writing).

Outside of the core characters I found everyone else to be various levels of dicks - the belters (once they were on the planet-I'm not going to dump on refugees!) were ignorant dicks, Elvi was an arrogant dick (so different to the book, although dropping the love-sick schoolgirl arc was a welcome change), every UN forces character was a racist dick. I don't remember feeling this reading the books.

No way Bobbie would have taken the turn she did in this season. Strange decision.

I expected them to lay some groundwork for the Free Navy/Duarte arc. Surprised not to have Duarte introduced (or did I miss something?) Hate the depiction of Marcos Inaros. Looks and acts nothing like the image I have in my head from the books.
Really curious about Drummer's arc - is she going to have a change of heart and take the Michio Pa role from the books (which she has been a sub for in the series anyway)?

Even with those criticisms I still think it's one of the best shows on TV and look forward to the nest season. They need at least 3 more seasons to be able to wrap things up -one season for Babylon's Ashes, one for Persepolis Rising/Tiamat's Wrath and one for book 9 whenever it's released.

Going to watch it again to digest fully, then watch the whole series from season 1 again. Again.

Wow. I haven't seen either of the series on Amazon (don't want to pay for it and prefer the books, only just), but that's not the Marco Inaros I pictured either.

Strangely enough, Marco was pretty spot on to how I imagined him, but Murtry..completely different. Burn Gorman is brutally excellent though. I've not watched the complete season yet but I'm glad they've not forgotten the slugs.

I had Sam Elliott in mind. He had this "Wild West lawman who's lost his moral compass" vibe.
