    You turned out to be right...in a horrible way! The exam itself was ok but on the way in my guitar fell off the strap and hit the deck. Shatter /chip marks to the finish. I'm going to part ex it in March! Is it worth paying for a refin to keep its value up?

    Hi there - I got a merit. It was with RSL. I gave myself 6 months to do this as it was a substantial step up from Grade 3, so that's my tip - lots of time to prepare and daily methodical practice! Also strap locks would have prevented me dropping my guitar on the way into the exam room...
