Recommended guitar tutor South West London?

What's Hot
Hi there.

I'm a terrible guitar player who needs help! I taught myself by playing along to indie records when I was a teen and then didn't play for years. I've recently started and want to learn properly. Been learning scales and some technique via books / online - but frankly I need to learn properly. Anyone know any good (patient!) guitar tutors in South West London (or around)?

I'd love to play psych / ambient and maybe a bit of (very simple!) jazz, but at this stage I need to learn pretty basic stuff.

Thanks. Chris

Try this - http://www.rgt.org/tutors/ - Register of Guitar Tutors and type in your town or post code and see what comes up and if it suits.

if Dario is local to you he's a (beyond) excellent teacher and a bloody ninja at the guitar

    Hiya,

Thanks for the reply. I'm basically on the border between Streatham / Tooting. I work in NW1 so travelling too far away from SW16/17 may be difficult for me to do regularly. Is Dario near?

    Ta,

Thanks for this. There are couple of people pretty close to me who are LCM exam tutors. I'll give them a shout. Just out of interest - is it worth going to more than one tutor? Effectively A/B them so that you're not just learning someone else's style? Not that I need to worry about having a "style" at the mo - Ha!
