Hi all,

Ive cleaned this thread up, just selling hand made Princeton Cabs here now (you can PM me if you’re after something different).

Cab 1 - Aged/“antique” finish solid pine

If you have a Princeton 65 or 68 Reissue then your chassis will drop straight in but removing the 4 bolts in the top ”straps”, side the chassis out and into the new cab, replace straps and 4 bolts.

Depending on what look you are going for you can bolt your baffle (with speaker attached) straight in with four/six screws.

Alternatively if you wanted a birch ply baffle in 10” or 12” I have a couple left over from my build.

Price for the cab ready to take the chassis and baffle is £100 (pm if you would like a new baffle as well)

SOLD  two stock original Fender cabs, the 65 Cab is in excellent condition £35 and the 68 is in great condition with three small holes where the tilt legs were located £30

Cheers

Toby

Looks great. I've got two quick questions-

    1. Is that a posted price?
    2. Whats the weight like compared to the stock cab?

Hi, would it be possible to ask for the dimensions, actually just the width, of the spacee available for the chassis in the original cabs? Thanks
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

    Evening all,

    PM’s replied to.

The internal dims for the chassis are 471mm x 204mm, the stock cabs allow for tolerance and have a gap of a few mms either side, mine are the same.

And the mounting holes are set using my PRRI 65 so will be a direct swap for other PRRIs.

Looks great. I've got two quick questions-

    1. Is that a posted price?
    2. Whats the weight like compared to the stock cab?

Postage will be around £15 UPS next day.

I haven’t weighed them but they are lighter than the stock tolex’d cabs.

    Hope that helps

Cab 2 - Poplar with Walnut Racing stripe - £100

    Hand built solid Poplar cabinet

If you have a Princeton 65 or 68 Reissue then your chassis will drop straight in but removing the 4 bolts in the top ”straps”, side the chassis out and into the new cab, replace straps and 4 bolts.

    12” Princeton Birch Ply Baffle - £50

Straight swap for the stock baffle and takes a 12 inch speaker. I have one in oxblood and one in wheat.

Obviously with a speaker mounted you wont see the 12” circle of back lit grill cloth!

The materials cost me around £30 so the other £20 just covers a bit of my build time, but I’m mainly doing these projects to stay busy while furloughed. They are not perfect but are are very good option for the price.

If you’re looking for some real life feedback @JerkMoans has one of my pine cabs and baffles :)

I'm trying to work out whether my 19" 1u rack modelling unit thing would fit in one of these, either the stock or the one with the racing stripe. What do you reckon? Will try and get mm dimensions of the thing later
