Hi-Fidelity should get some credit for selling a lot of Beta Band records

    Rockers
    Scott Pilgrim vs The World
American Graffiti & Dazed and Confused (for 60s and 70s versions of watching teens wander around for a night)
    Oh Brother Where Art Thou

If it's not scores - so no Morricone, no Vangelis etc - then...

    American Beauty
The Craft (terrible film, good music)
    O Brother, Where Art Thou?
    Philadelphia
    Romeo + Juliet (Baz Luhrmann)

Almost forgot - doh! - Magnolia, mostly Aimee Mann with a couple of Supertramp songs thrown in.

"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski

    "Just because I don't care, doesn't mean I don't understand." - Homer Simpson

I think I’ve only ever bought two soundtrack albums - O Brother and Iron Man 2 ( which bears little resemblance to the music used in the film).
MrsTheWeary’s favourite album is Once More With Feeling, which is the soundtrack to the musical episode of Buffy. So if I can include TV then that.
And Dusk til Dawn I really liked the music too at the time ( Jimmie Vaughan, ZZ Top, etc) - unfortunately attached to the nonsense that is a Tarantino film.
Tipton is a small fishing village in the borough of Sandwell.

I'm going to stick my neck out and also add the soundtrack to The Saint (yes, the one with Val Kilmer).

I even liked the almost universally hated reworking of David Bowies Little Wonder and it has a great song by Luscious Jackson which is annoyingly not available anywhere else!

There is no 'H' in Aych, you know that don't you? ~ Wife

Turns out there is an H in Haych! ~ Sporky

    Bit of trading feedback here.

I’d say blues brothers is a musical and the ‘background’ songs were missing from the soundtrack for the most part. Otherwise we’d end up listing musicals.

Neon Demon. Unfortunately the film itself is the worst film I’ve ever seen.

A little known Scottish comedy called “Restless Natives”. The soundtrack was provided by Big Country.
