I love a classic looking instrument, but sometimes I like something a bit different!

Let's see what weird and wonderful guitars we as a forum own/have owned. Obviously expecting H7 to dominate  ;)

Rules are simple, post a pic of a marmite guitar you own/have owned. Let us know if you still have it.

Wow: love it
lol: Hate it

Please no random guitars you've only seen online, just ones you own/have owned.

I'll get us started with this... a very standard guitar with a marmite finish! It's a MIM standard strat from about 2013.

Still have it!

    Wow! Is the headstock done?
Roland said: Scales are primarily a tool for categorising knowledge, not a rule for what can or cannot be played.
Supportact said: [my style is] probably more an accumulation of limitations and bad habits than a 'style'.

Wow! I marbled my first guitar, a shitty epi sg. Actually wasn't that bad, until I butchered it... Looks like a bowling ball, in a good way!

If I had a pic then I would post a pic of my long gone Ovation Breadwinner.

Still have this though..... and it's Marmite colour.

Still have this and no-one else on the forum is even vaguely interested in buying it, despite it having been available for several, if not many, yonks.

Let the Lol's and casual misogyny commence! That rosewood neck though...

The only thing I don’t like about that guitar, the ONLY thing is the apparent lack of easy upper fret access. Otherwise I think it’s amazing.

Love them, stunning guitars to play. There was a bright yellow one with rosewood neck in GuitarGuitar I procrastinated over too long.  Always on the lookout for one!

    Soooo...
I still have this. And it's likely I'll still have it years from now cos no one else wants it!

Headless guitars are always Marmite, as are unconventional body shapes.

I’ll openly say that’s not for me, sorry @Roland. I’m sure the ergonomics are great but it feels like a design that lacks any sensuality. It is what it is, totally modernist...right I’m off back to my Les Paul. ;)
