    Which string(s) only have notes from C major on the dot marked frets? 
    Bonus: do they make pentatonic major scales?

    D and yes, but not the 5 pentatonic modes we’re familiar with, but the other set of 5. (There are 10 pentatonic scales made only of tones and 1.5 tones)
