I'm slightly tempted by this even though I obviously don't need it just because of how sad I'd be if anything happened to mine. Love the neck on these so much. If I ever saw a spare Hot Rod 50s neck for sale I'd definitely want to buy it.
Where did you get your specs from? Mine was used so I didn't get a spec sheet, but all the searches I've done say they have an ash body... Reverb, GAK, Bax, reviews on Guitar Interactive and Chorder, etc.
