One of the great early rock & roll / R&B singers, Lloyd Price has left us at the age of 88.

Here’s one of his early hits with Fats Domino on piano, a song later covered by Elvis Presley.

    Ah, that's a shame. I remember first hearing him in about 1972 on a K-Tel LP with Stagger Lee. I thought it was tremendous. RIP.
