They punch above their weight, sound good on a variety of instruments and are probably the best bargain going in 500 series preamps.
Will they end up as well regarded as Neve 1073's or API 512's - almost certainly not.
Big deal.

@octatonic is it worth it for DI'ing guitars and basses? I'd like an upgrade for my RME Babyface DI and the marketing blurb says it's such!

Bass I use the Groove Tubes ViPre most of the time.
Guitar is something I rarely DI at all but if I did then I'd use an API 512.
