Hi folks. I have 3 pedals in the fx loop of my AD120VTX Vox Valvetronix. Pedals are all 9v (Behringer EQ700, BBE Sonic Stomp Maximiser, BBE Boosta Grand). Currently using a cheap PSU that's a bit noisy.
What would be a good value but decent quality isolated power supply? I don't need a 'pro' unit with multi-voltage options or a big unit to power 12 pedals etc, just something compact, decent quality & quiet for these few pedals.
There's a lot of options, but in truth I'm not sure what the differences are and what features are essential, and what aren't for my limited needs. My pedals are all fairly low mA - presumably if you have a power-supply that eg gives 9v at 500mA per output, the pedal will simply take what it needs, and won't overload?
I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

Just look for isolated power supply. I mean the new Fender one looks good.

but cheaper…although it has a wall wart rather than a IEC cable.

I actually like the look of this but it seems quite large.

It seems that PSU like the Cioks which offers similar power but much smaller, the money goes towards making the thing smaller.
Even the popular Voodo Lab has a wall wart

I personally prefer just the IEC cable.
The Fender unit with IEC looks perfect! When looking at specs, how do you tell which has IEC and which have wallwarts?

I've also used this and to be honest it was really good nice and quite and cheap.

+1 for these if you're just running analogue pedals. I cut the plug off the end and put in an IEC inline socket so I could use a kettle lead.
I'm still a huge fan of the Strymons.
