So this is my first Levinson Blade guitar.
I've seen a few people have the RH4 and it gets loads of praise.
This one is a Korean made one.
I was a bit dubious of the no name hardware and own brand pickups but it's a very well put together guitar, I would have liked a centre join body but that's only an aesthetic thing.
Satin neck, quite flat radius and I would describe it as a slim D profile.
The on board boost thingy really does affect the tone so there's a good range of sounds.
Happily the standard passive tones are good too.
Certainly not as spiky as some teles I've played, just sounds a lot thicker with more pronounced mids than a fender.
Case is decent enough as well.
Blade isn't a brand I've seen much of on the walls of guitar shops though.
Anyone had one, or still got one?
Are the older Japan ones worth keeping an eye out for?
Anyway, behold the T4 Custom...

I had a Japanese Texas ('Pro'?) Blade back about 20 years ago. Nicely put together and we'll thought-out, bit the neck was so thin it basically bent in the wind.
My band, Red For Dissent
I've got an RH4 that I've had for about 8 years. It's perhaps not the most characterful guitar but it does everything really well and it's a real Swiss Army Knife with a great range of sounds.
They're firmly on the radar now if they pop up.
Thanks all for the comments, it's a lovely happy little guitar.
One of my "regret selling" guitars was a Jap RH4 with the Fender headstock - great guitars.
The guy I bought this off had an RH4 he was raving about it, I think that was the only one he was keeping, having a bit of a sell off.
Good score - an awful lot of guitar for the money, especially with the piezo fitted.
Gorgeous.
I absolutely love the look of them.
Definitely think I'll be on the lookout for one of them next!
