Selling my rather fetching and wonderful Fender American Special Jazzmaster to make way for something else.
I bought it from @DB1 recently and as amazingly as it plays, sounds, and looks I prefer a standard JM vibrato (although the Bigsby is a really nice unit - much more precise, and does look very cool).
One of a 500 run worldwide as part of their Magnificent Seven series. This one's had a Mastery bridge upgrade (£180!), it has the Bigsby licensed B50 trem, and locking tuners, the original case and is in great condition. I also have a cream pickguard that was custom made for this that I will include in case the black doesn't do it for you!
Alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, 9.5 radius, American Vintage '65 pickups, and simplified switching. The neck profile is a really nice middling C and with the chunky frets it plays a dream.
I'm pricing this at £1300 Now £1100!! There is another used one for sale in the UK at £1500, without the upgrades, and in the US the used prices range from £1500 to £2000 (plus shipping and import taxes).
I'm based in Leeds and whilst I'm after collection only I would happily drive a while to meet up to do a deal.
I'd be open to trades for similar offsets or potentially a tele, but cash is king really.

Bump, open to sensible offers for this killer Jazzmaster
It is a fabulous looking guitar, really lovely. And it could pretty much pass for new.
A steal at that price. GLWTS.
Bump. Would consider posting...
Here is the custom ordered WD cream pickguard:
Love that cream pickguard, by the way.
Have you tried putting it up for overseas. I sold a limited edition Gibson and got a great price when it went overseas
