First up is the stunning Caroline Meteore lo-fi reverb, which uses a Belton brick chip to create a springy, tile kind of reverb. Named after the Paris Metro I believe, for the sound it makes. Has a preamp as well to add drive to the reverb. £150 NOW £120 posted. SOLD

EHX Flatiron Fuzz - their take on a Rat pedal with a personality of its own - bought in a bundle from @Slimbert but sadly it's not for me. It was sold to me at a bargain price though, so I'm passing the savings to you. £30 posted. SOLD

Next is the Akai Intelliphase, a very clever box which offers touch-sensitive phasing, and you can choose whether playing hard or soft triggers the phaser. Or just turn off the touch sensitivity and use as a standard phaser. Really nice sounds from this one, and quite rare. £50 NOW £40 posted SOLD

    That akai looks massive!
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

  • I used to have one of those Akai phasers - nice and easy to get a big foot on.

I prefered it to the Phase 100 I bought next.
