it would also work with tort guard and cream covers, but I think the above suggestion would be a nicer addition alongside the bright colourful guitars we have seen so far

Im firmly in the "there needs to be an allblackeverything Trent" camp too. I'd go for the non-gloss, open pore finish myself with a bakelite guard. Now I've just got to hope that the recent BBC push of Gossip Girl generates me a whole bunch more royalty payments and I'll get on that horse quick smart

Almost want to get a transparent pickguard now to show off the pickup shielding. Have not seen shielding that good ever. The colour is everything I hoped it would be.. cannot contain my excitement to see and play the finished product!

The orange is great, the red is great, the yellow is great, the shielding is great, everything is GREAT. The only way I'd like these pictures more is if they were of my one! But I can be patient. No really. I can. Honest.

The finish on that looks better (thinner) than on the review model that passed through here recently!

Model 1 custom finished up,

HB in the bridge which is coil switched with the toggle between the knobs, open pore satin, modern locking tuners, bakelite guard and a huge neck carve (25.4mm at 1st and 12th)

Holy mama, that extra coil split switch between the knobs is AMAZING! I love that all these first custom guitars are so different. Some awesome specs coming out.
