Definately worth looking at the Engl. Frm what I recall of reviews, it wsn the most neutral sounding valve power amp bar the VHT/Fryette stuff. Its a really good price as well, 2U and fairly light for a vale amp - its 50w per side at £822

If you need more power, the 100w versionis an option. ITs heavier at 17Kg so more than the 2:50:2 - and its pricier at £1230 - but your need would be a factor in which suits.

Mesa 2:90 is eye watering new, but I've seen one sell sub £500 locally in the past few months.

VHT 2:50:2 - cant find new at present. Were around £1300 4 years ago.

Marshall: Ditto, were circa £1300 a few years back, though GAK have an ex Demo one for £700

A friend is selling a VHT 2/50/2 for 600 EUR...that's peanutes for you guys with the pound being strong these days. Also, it's 220 V...

@Drew_FX the 8008 manual says you can jack into input B and then run a cab out of output A and output B

they call it 'linked mono mode'

that'll allow you to do this

AFII -> 8008 inB -> a pair of 4x12 cabs

that way you'll get 80W into each cab

don't know if this helps you.. it's the only info I could find

I don't know if anyone will care about this, but a tonematch of my Diezel D-Moll FX loop send.

Amp was on high-gain channel 3, with the mid-cut enabled.

Just kinda does something nice. Add a cab 1 and load this IR, then cab 2 with your regular cabinet IR.
