Traded: Republic Tricone Resonator -price drop
What's Hot
Traded.
Proper Tricone with a lovely resonant sound at a fraction of the cost of a National. Picked this up last year during a buying stage, I’m now on a purge with a very specific bit of gas. These have a great reputation for a reason and it really is a lovely guitar. Set up by Leicestershire Luthiers in December and currently set up for finger style and slide. Odd scuff and ding from age but nothing that impacts playability. I believe this to be a proper bell brass body, coated in a gun metal grey lacquer/paint.
Foibles of this particular guitar are a slightly off centre third fret marker and a tight truss rod channel that had to be opened up slightly during its recent set up. I understand that this was a case of shaving a minor bit of wood either side of the channel to enable the truss wrench to get the required turn. Just want to be above board.

Tasty filth, that. It's got me a bit weak at the knees.
