Hope it's not considered cheeky to piggyback onto this, but I don't suppose you've got any spare of the screws for the buttons? Got a few sets of used JD strap locks as a job lot purchase on here a while back and it included a pair of gold plated buttons sans screws. The ones that come with the sets seem to be a pretty unique spec in terms of the heads and I've not been able to hunt down alternatives that would work without considering extreme options like angle grinding.
