Refurbished Office Chairs?

My old Ikea office chair that I work from home from is on it's last legs and I need something more ergonomic. Has anyone every bought anything from one of these companies/sites that offer refurbished chairs? There seem to be plenty about, however some definitely look better than others. 

There are also quite a few choices on eBay - sellers who just sell these sort of things with 100% positive feedback which seems legit. I definitely know the chair I want (Humanscale Liberty) however not sure of a trusted source.

    Search on Ebay under Office Chairs - there are plenty of Humanscale Freedoms but a Liberty is bound to turn up. Keep searching as ones are added aevery week. Your location in Somerset make it a bit more difficult  but some will offer competitive delivery. you may get lucky with a local (non business) seller.  Don't just look at the feedback numbers - go in classic view and read the actual comments along with how long the seller has been registered etc.

    A  side effect of the poor economy is an increase in spare good quality chairs. I swear it wasn't so competitive a couple of years ago.

    I recently got a Mira 2 for M Fish - it is lovely and was delivered to my door. I toyed with getting a Humanscale one for myself but ended up getting a generic one from Amazon which suits my needs (so far) as it tilts rather than just relclines and has ars that fold back, for obvious reasons. The Mira 2 and and an Orangebox were very ergonomic, just not perfect for guitar / studio stuff.
    Ten years too late and still getting it wrong

    I don't know if they have what you want but I bought a high end chair from these guys and all was good.

    Yes two. Both under £100 for a very high spec chairs. The first was a Hayworth, and the second may be as well. It was something like Used City Furniture. 

    Now two because the first one broke, and since the chair was discontinued I couldn’t find the particular replacement parts. Nothing on eBay or from the manufacturer, so YMMV I guess. 

    Im still satisfied with the overall value and process.

    Went for a refurbished Humanscale Liberty from a office furniture store on eBay in the end. Very happy with it. The cushion looks to have been recovered and the tilting mechanism feels like it's brand new. The only sign of it being used are multiple scratches on the legs. Not bothered one bit for the price though.
