I haven't seen, though i believe there is one in the Helix, anyone demo how to tweak the amp profiles using a graphic EQ, and what other options there are fro fine tuning the raw amp sound (over and above the standard TMB&P). The focus up to now has really been on the routing and FX. I'd also like to know how important it is to run it into an FRFR setup or whether really good results can be got running it into the power section of a valve amp and guitar cab.
Cracking demo and what a monster player. Certainly puts the Anderton's tomfoolery and needless fret wanking into perspective.
Have resigned myself to the fact it's only a matter of time til I get one at this rate.
Can't wait for the end of the month......

I gather that there are pre-amp blocks and combined pre amp/power amp blocks but no standalone power amp blocks. To my simple mind that suggests that
Onboard Fx -> Onboard Pre-Amp -> Onboard Fx -> Onboard Power Amp
is not achievable. Is that correct or can the preamp bit of the combined block be switched off? Or is there some other way of doing it for those not intending to use a real amp?
"You can create a very close approximation of an effects loop by placing any post effects after the amp block and before the cab block. It's true that this doesn't fall between the preamp and power amp stages as in a real amp, but it still works out to give your post effects after the amp gain."
I know the effects are yet to be tested and that with the loops you can keep your favourite pedals, but one of the biggest draws of the Helix for me is that it could potentially be the only thing I have on the floor.
However replacing an H9 Max could be a tall order.
I have also just bought a DT25 with the view to running a dual amp set-up with my Rivera, just thinking of using the DT as the amp running different amp flavours to compliment the Rivera - so Rivera running my base tone with the DT putting in a bit of whatever I need over the top and then having the ability to run both (hopefuly switchable through L6 link and with normal amp switching capabilty of the Helix) as a true Stereo rig.
What has attracted me the most is the loss of patch cables - OK, my current board is static on a Pedaltrain etc, but I can't help thinking that to lose that maze of cables is going to tidy up my on stage area!!
