  • There's a story behind this one - I wanted a black one with a rosewood board so I could put a gold anodised guard on it (a guitarist in one of my favourite bands had one). So I got this from ebay, as Fender don't do the black ones any more... Turns out it was Candy Apple Red that's been oversprayed! It's surprisingly resonant for a guitar that has two coats of poly on it.

    Nice looking stuff.

    I've been considering your Varitone pedal. An observation... on your website its £85 whilst its £75 on eBay. Normally that sort of thing is the other way around due to the eBay fees etc...
    Never Ever Bloody Anything Ever.

  • @impmann ;
    well you have just helped me spot an error! SO thanks you very much for that... If you do fancy one get in touch and I can sort you out some discount for that vital bit of info!!

    Im trialling ebay to see how it works out. it's pretty evil as we know so I will see how long I last before getting sick of it. To be honest its more the detachment of a customer that I don;t like. Through ebay it' not very personal at all. Especially if you're dealing with returns etc!

  • Coincidentally I have a pickguard shape Ive just traced round for you as per your website - should I just send it in with the donwloaded form? Also roughly how long would yo take to do a, say, strat(ish0 shaped pickguard

  • Hiya mate please do, scratchplates are 10 days from when I get the original and payment. Originals are cheaper for you and easier for us to copy cut round of course. So if it's possible sending me the old ones would be dynamite!

    This big bad link will take you to a Get a quote thing where I get all the details I need to give you a price

  • Awesome! Glad there is a local-ish repair/setup place. I don't trust the big retail places if I'm honest.
