When my local guitar shop had a ukulele half-inched, the proprietor was advised not to post CCTV of the perps until after they had been questioned and charged. The act of publicly showing the faces of the accused on social media could have been used by a defence lawyer to get them off on the technicality of not being able to get a fair trial.
