Old guitar day.. a couple of years ago i hid most of my guitars away in cupboards and such to make room for new arrival.

While having a root in a cupboard recently i came across this. I hadn't forgotten that i had it.. but i wasn't actively remembering it :)

It's a Samick mini flying V! And it's red so it obviously plays really fast.

Must have bought it very early 2000's.. think it must have been £80ish if i recall.. which i don't actively do..

So its a very short scale guitar.. and has always been tuned to G.. because.. it's a very short scale guitar. Is there anything i could do to make it closer to E standard short of ripping out all of the insides and replacing it all with a variax insides?

Like uh.. thicker strings/better tuners/secret sauce/a magic component that will help/anythingalonganylines?

It's in dire need of new strings and a good clean. Probably needs a big beefy pickup too.. and some flame decals.. it's form early 2000's after all.. :)
