The Guitar Show 2015 - we're going ...

Sat 28th Feb & Sun 1st Mar.  New Bingley Hall, Birmingham.

Last year this was the "Great British Guitar Show" and theFB had a stand there.  This year, it's lost the GB bit, but we're still going, and we'll have a stand there again.

So, who fancies some sort of theFB gasfest / drinking & playing / drinking & talking / drinking & eating meet-up on the Saturday evening, somewhere in the area?  If enough people are up for it, we could try to arrange something worthwhile ...

The venue I usually use for get-togethers/jams isn't available that night, I'll mooch around and find an alternative hopefully not too far away!

This is a very modest aspiration but I would have liked someway to have recorded which theFB members came up to the stand - like one of those giant plates you sign at wedding receptions ( what do people do with those?).
TheFB stand actually had more interesting gear than some of the paid stands so if folks are willing to show off their hi tech and/or high end gear again that's a big attraction.
If we could give away theFB branded ear plugs they'd go down well!

That would be very welcome, and must result in visitors staying longer, and buying more

I have worked trade fairs at the likes of the NEC and few Biker Rallies in the 90's if you would like me to stay over on the Saturday night and help man the Stand throughout the two days ?

That and much more including building and dismantling Marquee's is exactly what i used to do at trade shows. I'm more than happy to help. I'm handy with tools, can easily work as part of a team and can turn my hand to pretty much anything except plumbing and electrics.

I can't contribute to the Forum financially at the moment but i can do this and help out in any other way possible.

Whatever you need i'm happy to do my best.

I could come down from the frozen north for the weekend.  So I'd be available to help out, man the stand etc.  Can bring some vintage gear as well.

Can't help on the stand, but I'll put it in the diary to pop along, probably with one or both of my kids so they can generally run around and get in everyone's way...much like last year really.
