Gig spam, and just got the final mixes of our album back...

...from our very own @Drew_fx - and I have to say, he's done a bloody brilliant job. There were some songs I was dreading, but every track is one we're proud of.

The album's not out until the end of January, but here's a sneak peek - something a little different.

Everything except the drums are the 11R, including the vocals.

It was partly the audio interface, but also two things:

1 - The mic pre in the 11R is very good

2 - The compressor in the effect blocks is truly excellent

Thanks, mate. It's really quite surprising what you can get from so little these days; we spend so long spending money chasing tone when you can get a damn good sound in a mix from (relatively) cheap digital gear. The whole thing was done on a budget of less than a grand (including mixing and buying the recording laptop and Eleven Rack).

And yeah...she's pretty good, isn't she?

Ooooh! A customer!

It'll be available in about 3 weeks, both CD and download (most likely through Bandcamp). We're just in the process of getting all the ancillary stuff done and finding somewhere to print the CDs in low volumes without costing an arm and a leg.
