Ah, much more interesting than previous solos, and a challenge to keep the ideas flowing for that length of time.
    1. TTony, for daring to use a clean tone which is what the backing cried out for IMHO
    2. Bingefeller, for his touch
    3. Fnpt, because I like the wah

1- Daveww, the wah brings back memories from late 70's, early 80's reggae tunes. Nice playing too.
2- TTony, nice playing and the tone was the right one.
    3- Sambostar, very nice melodically.

5 points @Markv - listened to this with headphones and quite liked the idea of the panning guitars.

3 points @Sambostar - nice playing with the acoustic. Would liked to have heard it recorded "properly"

1 point @TTony - nice laid back feel to your playing.

Wow - thanks for all the votes & kind comments all!

    My votes;
    5pts: @Daveww
For me, this fitted the track best, in terms of feel & sound.

Bit of an odd mix - classical reggae - but I liked it.

    1pts; @Markv
I think we shared a lot of notes between our respective solos, so I'm going to like yours!!

5 pts @TTony. ; It's the only one that talked to me about the ups and downs and I liked, although, dancing his own path regardless of the political consequences, I found it a little upbeat.

3 pts @Markv  for the sound and it has a UKIP vibe about it.

1 pt @Bingefella for thick tone and implying that I am improper. obviously has a big poster of Thatcher above his bed.

Bingefella obviously recorded before the election and it shows with his rock god prowess.  Wah's made me feel a bit ill.

Obviously no one has any taste around here because clearly only mine and TTony's expressed the extreme sorrow of the Tory's getting in for another 5 years.

Also I hated the track and Ska and Reggae is the only music on earth I wish never existed, hence probably.

I know you all voted Tory anyway.

Thanks for the kind words all (although less sure about having a "UKIP vibe" tbh), I really enjoyed recording this month's solo and listening to everyone else's interpretations.

5 points @Sambostar - an unexpected but great combination of track and sound, I thought the way you recorded the backing track had a certain lo-fi authenticity about it, and the playing was excellent.

3 points @daveww - a gritty wah'd sound was ideal for this track I thought and it had a nice touch throughout.

1 point @fnpt - an excellent wah-soaked introduction and a great thick tone.

And thanks to @Antique_Guitars for the backing track.
