Here's the 11th Riff of the Month (RotM) Challenge, being run by @Antique_Guitars and @TTony.


The challenge is now open, and remains open for submissions until 24th June.


All you have to do is ...
Write a guitar riff. You can include whatever else you want in the mix, but the main focus must be on the riff.
Keep it to a maximum of 50 seconds. This is about riffs, not songs.
Challenge opens on the 1st of every month, and closes on the 24th of the month.
Voting opens on the 25th of the month, and closes on the last day of the month, when the winner will be announced.
Let us know if you would like your entry to be anonymous.
Send your tracks to riffs@theFB.co.uk


The tracks will be uploaded to our SoundCloud account and saved in a playlist that will be linked below.

Yeah I had an idea so I thought it was best to record immediately rather than to leave it just incase I forgot

Emailed my effort last night.

Cort Zenoz z1 into orange 10w practice amp into tesco hudl 2 tablet via mic. Recorded using audio evolution app and mastered using wavepad. Just a quickie, but wanted to get something in this month as I was flat out in may and didn't. All the best folks.

OK, mine's just a rough, raw riff really, Vox Virage into Effectrode Blackbird, into BigSky, cab emulated out to the Tascam DR-100. Fingerstyle riff played in 10ths.

Just listening back to mine and I have to say that I'm just not feeling it at all.

I'll be entering this one. I had a couple of months where I didn't even touch my guitars but I'm starting to get back into it.

@bingefeller Personally, I like it, a lot. Really good rockin' riff. Nice playing too.
