Why's it always so hard to decide on a winner? Three good riffs (and my own, which I'd managed to totally forget about recording) that I liked for very different reasons.

1st (5 points) @JudasVigilante  ; - like a 21st century The Pink Floyd (and, yes, that's THE Pink Floyd with Syd)

2nd (3 points) @bingefeller  ; - good, solid and very catchy riffing with a great snarl to the tone

3rd (1 point) @kin  ; - I like it when it takes a slight harmonic 'twist' - I can't quite put my finger on why, but it sounds very '70s' to me (I was half-expecting 'whispering' Bob Harris to come in at the end)

I did like @kin 's piece as well, but couldn't quite get the timing - nice tone, though!

My votes for this month:

1st 5pts: @bingefeller Rockin' heavy-ish. lovely tone

2nd 3pts @steamabacus Loved this, infact I nearly wasn't going to vote at all as I couldn't put the other 3 in any sensible order of preference. But this is a beauty. Recording, production, sounds are all spot on.

3rd 1pt: @kin I'm sorry I had to put this third as it's a beautiful bit of playing. Tone is lovelt for clean. Better than I can ever get with my gear.

Basically I loved all three pretty much equally this month and it's a shame I couldn't put them all joint 1st etc.

Well done, guys, @bingefeller, @steamabacus, @kin. Lovely playing/writing all of you.

Can I also thank anyone who was kind enough to vote for my riff. I wrote it in seconds and then just added atmosphere.

Would love to have tried it with something like an Eventide fx processor, but they're like a fortune. So I'll stick to Zoom and Logic until I win the lottery.!!!
