  • 5 Points - @Teetonetal - Smooth playing and good tone as usual.  I really liked the chilled understated playing.

3 Points - @markv - Cool fuzz tone and good rhythmic playing.  I liked the repeating melody

1 Point - @SquireJapan - Good ideas.  I liked the opening riff.  Unfortunately I felt it was let down a bit by the hum and the restart at the end.

It's good to hear that we have 4 quite different approaches to the backing track. I enjoyed all of them.

5 points @Teetonetal - best suited to the track I thought. A lovely sound, beautifully played as always. I particularly liked the long glides towards the end.
3 points @SquireJapan - I liked the playing and the tone, even though I'm not sure how well it goes with the track! Shame about the recording quality though.
1 point @ChrisRG - tasteful playing, very clean.

Chris RG 5 say most naturally in the mix I think
Teetonal 3 nice tone well controlled
Squire Japan 1 - noisy but good
Sorry MarkV just missed out. The only thing that out me off was the pitch of some of your bends
    It was that close mate

Hmm, as always hard to choose, the 3 are so different and each has it's merits.

@ChrisRG 5 points:  imo tone suited the track the best and some neat little licks in there too.
@Squirejapan 3 points: nice playing from 30 secs on, but the opening wasn't for me.
@markv 1 point: I'm not sold on the sound used, I don't think it fits. Still some nice ideas in the playing though,

  • Thanks for the feedback peeps ... priority one is to figure out how to stop my recordings from being so noisey!

    5points @ChrisRG - Favourite by far
3points @Teetonetal - tasteful, but just behind ChrisRG for melody
    1point @Markv

All very good, and much more tasteful than my efforts! I tend to be a bit in your face

    3 Points - Squirejapan

    1 Point - Markv

It's a shame 1 entry has to get left out because they were all great in their own way.
