Great stuff all round and nice to see a good turn out.

Glad you liked the sound @spark240 - that's a Taylor 12 string straight into the AI, with a little (in)judicious eq and reverb added on. Haven't tried recording it before and I was pleased with how it came out.

@markv - thanks, but are you sure you didn't mix my entry up with someone else's - even I wouldn't give me 5 points this month

Having heard this month's playlist, I'm going to have to stop my recent approach of just sticking the phone in front of the amp and recording very raw.  The sound quality of most of the submissions are stunning, and the playing on a lot of them is damn good too.

Honourable mentions have to go to mellowsun for the incredible playing/technique, to kin for submitting a non-guitar track, and for Dulcet's folky tapper.

One of our best monthly playlists for this challenge, IMHO.

I wasn't judging the recording quality but the sound and it kept coming back into my head.

Yeah...the Taylor sounds nice, I use the 414CE usually, but on this challenge I use a PRS 513 straight into the Boss GT001 , just tweaked the delay to suit the tempo ;-)

@kin honourable mention. Only the timing kept it out of the top 3 unfortunately I couldn't lock into it

It was my first effort  playing through the midi guitar app on the iPad into the The Animoog synth app and to be honest, i didn't have a clue what it was going to sound like from one second to the next, good fun though.

Not saying i could have played it in time even with some more practice mind
