Same, I dig everything about it but it's just too heavy for me to play being so used to SG bodies.

i have had a few in the last wee while, a 335 by Vintage and an Epiphone 339 and the extra girth of a semi just annoys me after a while.Although the 339 wasnt that bad a mate wanted to buy it off me for more than i paid for it :-) whats the Revstar like ? never tried one

The Revstar is cool, but again a bit heavy for me (which isn't to say it's heavy at all). Kind like a gross between an SG and Les Paul. I adore the neck on it, it's my favourite to play but I can only do so sitting down.

I find I just prefer guitars with the strap button on the back of the body rather than the top horn, my first guitar was an SG so go figure.

You're welcome to come try it out :)

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
