Jam session - Oxford area?
I live near Oxford and wonder if there's anyone within a 30min drive who fancies meeting up perhaps twice a month-ish for a Jam session?
I've been playing for a couple of years (following a 20 yr gap when I learnt for 4 years as a young teenager) and would like to play with some other guitarist. Work makes the logistics a bit tricky and I appreciate this idea is a bit of a long shot, but thought I'd see if there's anyone in a similar boat, so to speak.
Cheers
Graham.
(blues, hendrix, Nirvana, rock type stuff, but willing to learn more or less anything)

Might be good for me to start jamming with people. Get bored on my own.
I'm most interested in playing drums.

I started drumming a few years ago mainly because guitar playing gigs had become fewer and the bands I was in always seemed to be looking for drummers.
There is quite a bit of work about but I'm not quite ready for that so happy to sit in with people in an informal setting, get a bit more experience and such.

I guess we need to work out where and when. Maybe meeting up at Fat Lils for a beer would be a good start.
I'm very open to all ideas, as I've never organised something like this before. Will check in again over the weekend.
Cheers
Graham
Will definitely come to an open mic night at Fat Lils though.
