Anyway, I would imagine he may carry a staple gun as well. Although I can't help think he'd use a more elegant carpentry solution than either of these most of the time, but if time was an issue (say feeding 5000 people), he'd probably just be all 'band, bang bang' with those nail and staple guns so he could finish and attend to higher matters.

It's often said his carpentry went downhill as he became a religious superstar, well now you know why.

jesus was probably considered a terrorist in his day, hence the death penalty.

terrorism is like beauty, in the eye of the beholder. you can have left or right wing terrorism, so it's clearly not an ideology, more an indicator of where on the spectrum of 'how agressive am i going to be about this?' you locate yourself & your movement, & where the status quo you are against places you & your movement. it's all very subjective.

there are also degrees. many terrorist organisations have a moral code, such as anyone who can be considered an 'enemy combatant' (military personnel) is a viable target, but not civilians. or property & resources can be targeted, but not people. left-wing militant groups generally seem to adopt nuanced approaches more than the right (who tend to be more shoot to kill anyone who doesn't agree with us).

but the status quo considered jesus such a threat to their authority that they had him done away with as soon as the opportunity presented itself.

if he were operating in the middle east, north korea (or even russia) right now i think he would carry a gun, because criticisng the establishment is often met with a bullet.
in the west there are more options to spread an aggressive anti-establishment message & not risk your life (extended or indefinite imprisonment on a bullshit charge another matter).

so probably not in the uk or europe but possibly in parts of the us.

I'm in danger of being far too serious with my logical response to the question posed but, as there's no record of Jesus carrying a 1st century weapon I'd have to conclude he wouldn't carry a 21st century weapon either.

He also said to love your enemies so I think carrying a gun around would be kind of a hypocritical thing for him to do.
