Isn't there already a system with motorised machine heads that does all of that automatically ?

Yes....but its a cool gadget with lights and sh*t on it...and its fairly cheap and will do my acoustic nicely !

Yes, Ive got one of those too, but its getting on a bit now, so thinking of moving on....
