Fender Nashville Tele, Fender Classic Player Strat, Tokai LS-150
What's Hot
Usual story. Just purchased a bucket list guitar, so that means a brutal shedding of gear in an attempt to recoup some of the cost before divorce ensues. Collection or I can deliver or meet within an hour(ish) of LE15 7. EDIT - I'm also in Winchester area for a week between 23-28th this month, so if anyone South is interested I can bring any of them with.
2003 Tokai ES-120 with OX4 Humbuckers. £SOLD. Up first, this 2003 Japanese Tokai ES-120 with upgraded electronics and OX4 humbuckers, recently picked up from this very parish. It's a lovely guitar with some minor marks which is to be expected for a 16 year old guitar. It has had a clean and setup since it's been in my care, but I've now scratched the 335 itch and decided the overall feel/vibe/sound isn't what I'm after. I know there was some other interest when this was up before, so hopefully I can move it on to someone else who'll appreciate it more. Looking for £750 which is what I paid the other week. Comes with a hard case.
Fender Deluxe Nashville Telecaster. £500.
This is in excellent condition. One tiny ding on the neck, near the 12th fret (pictured) - I don't notice it while playing at all. The only non-standard mod to this guitar is that I have put in a 5-way superswitch. The stock wiring is as per a Strat, but I've wired it so that instead of middle-pickup only, the position 3 gives the bridge and neck together, like a tele middle position. I prefer this, but I'm sure the buyer could easily revert if wanted. Comes with a gig bag.
Spec from Fender site:

Two Vintage Noiseless™ Tele pickups (neck and bridge); single Vintage Noiseless Strat pickup (middle)
Five-way Strat-o-Tone switching

Great playing guitar in excellent condition. Highlights on this one are the really quite excellent pickups and the 12" radius board. Comes with a gig bag. This is a few years old now and I think it has a rosewood board (they're Pau Ferro these days) but to be completely honest I am not 100% sure. There's a tiny ding/crack in the finish on the lower side - it's barely noticeable (pictured in the last picture - looks like a hair)
Maple neck with “C” profile
12”-radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets
Three custom ’69 single-coil Stratocaster pickups with five-way switching
Mint green pickguard
Two-point synchronized tremolo bridge
Vintage-style tuners
Gorgeous guitar and exceptional quality. For full stripped down geekery, look at this comparison with my old R8: Comparison: Gibson R8 vs Tokai LS150
