Thanks folks - I think it worked better with the intense point source of a camera flash before wire wooling, but in reality it probably does look better now

I've created a monster :-) - now to correct the uncharacteristic wiring cock ups (everything back to front, must have had a brainstorm) and one I have done before and failed to learn from, forgot to thread the earth wire before screwing the bridge on :-( doh
