We were booked for a corporate do last Thursday at Portsmouth Guildhall. I just assumed the gig would be in one of the conference rooms but no, it was in the main auditorium where Judas Priest had played a couple of week before.

Here's soundcheck :

Here how lonely my little 5 watt rig looks on the Guildhall stage

And that surely proves you can gig any size venue with a tiny amp if it's mic'ed up

Showtime

Also had a great time running down the corridors behind the stage pretending to be Spinal Tap looking for the stage, drinking in the dressing rooms, it's the best job in the world sometimes

I can sometimes sympathise with the wall of dummy cabs thing, my borrowed Classic 50 often looks lost too. I wish I had a pic of the gig I did with a miked-up Champ I did last week, it looked hilarious, like I was taking a chihuahua for a walk!
