Wtb Celestion Blue or Alnico Cream must be uk made and 8 ohms

Two of my favourite speakers. Blue in my j20 and a cream in my Dualist. Hope you pick one up soon What amp had you planned for them out of interest ?

Hi Hotpickups, yeah had the blue in my Lazy J also, not tried the Cream yet but would like to try one! I'm looking for one to go in my JMI AC30 which has greenbacks in at the moment.

The cream will take some breaking in which I'm still doing but it sounds great even now. Good choice

Does it have more bottom end than the blue ?

It's certainly cleaner but that's probably due to the amp it's in. I've only had it a few days so I haven't compared them much

I got a cream alnico recently and definitely find it cleaner as needed to adjust amp and pedal settings. Think its the 90 watt output; needs to be pushed a bit to get the best.

If you are looking for bottom end in an Alnico you need a Eminence Red Fang - I've got UK blues ,vintage and modern and I think the Red Fang is way ahead -so is the Tayden Ace which is also an all round nicer,meatier sound than the Blue

All I know is the cream is sounding awesome in my 30 watt combo
