Digitech and DOD have gone through a massive rebrand/product refocus over the last few years.
If I understand it correctly the DOD line is now for fairly simple all-analogue effects and the Digitech line is for slightly quirkier digital things.
The old-style pedals like the Bad Monkey didn't sit within that branding (and reading between the lines from what the guy who runs Digitech says on TGP didn't actually sell all that well anyway). One thing that's fairly obvious from reading "the internet" about digitech pedals is that lots of people assumed that anything they made must be a digital pedal because of the name (look up the Hardwire drives and you'll see comments about how "digital drives suck" even though they're analogue circuits).
