SOLD: Kramer Baretta FR-404S/D with Metallic Purple

For Sale: my immaculate Kramer Baretta FR-404S/D. This was bought from MusicYo in 2001/2 and never gigged. Not played that much either. It's good and versatile with a sparkly purple finish. I bought it on a whim as a student but to be honest my heart was never into it much.

Through neck gives a good tone, so for someone who likes the look, they will get a good versatile instrument. Finish is very good apart from two very small dings on the top front horn (pictures 3 and 4) and another by the rear tone knob. Both are only noticable when looking at the guitar with a very shallow angle and not paint is broken on either - very difficult to notice. The back has the odd scuff but again not deep.

Being a far eastern Gibson-era Kramer, it's a good bit of kit but not to be confused with the 80's delicacies...

NOTE: Original pickups have been put back in hence the price drop. Not expecting a huge offer for this but I will start at £160.

How stable is the tuning on that floyd ?

Very in my experience. It's at least as good as the Jackson Dinky EX i normally played at the time. Full licensed etc... Gibson made them to take advantage/rape the Kramer name so they had to work properly.

Cool thx. Do you have any measurement of the neck thickness ?

it is around 23mm at the 12th fret and 20mm on the first- but that with a tape measure. It's no Jackson speed neck by any stretch.
