    Thanks @guitarmanessex89

I know Suhr guitars very well as I used to run a music school and I'd book Guthrie Govan for masterclasses....excellent guitars.

OP, I don't think you can call it a Stratocaster unless it came from the Fender factory. No matter who built it or how good an instrument it is.

GLWTS of a great looking guitar.

In response to @Rocker and so as not to offend Fender Stratocaster devotees, I have amended the discussion title.

@Castro, I was not sniping at you but the issue of what makes a Strat a Strat comes up for discussion regularly here.  The opinion of the legal eagles is that for a guitar to be called a Stratocaster or Strat, it must come out (assembled) from the Fender factory.  Even a strat shaped guitar built entirely of Fender parts (by one of the Fender master builders) cannot legally be called a Stratocaster or Strat.

I have no doubt that your Thorn built guitar is an excellent instrument.

Nothing personal in my comments my friend.

Strat, Tele and Les Paul are widely used as generic descriptions of body shape. Gibson lost their court case against PRS because the body shape was deemed to be generic.

Having "Fender" or "Stratocaster" on the headstock is a different matter because it falls foul of "passing off" legislation. Similarly you can't call a partscaster a Fender, even if it's made of Fender parts, but you can call it a Stratocaster shaped guitar.
