Question for Roland gr55 users

does the V Guitar bit track differently to the synth?  I.e. When using a nylon guitar with a GK-3 on my gr20 I can't just 'strum' like a not always guitar, you need to be pretty accurate with the picking.  Is the V-Guitar different somehow?

Roland's V-guitar is very different from PCM sounds. The sound is a remodelling/reshaping of the original signal from the string, so it is almost instantaneous and doesn't require the player to modify his technique.

Thanks for that.  That's what I'd guessed, but wasn't certain.  Just getting in to guitar synths so really don't have a lot of idea
