In all seriousness, I'm going to be very busy for the next few months, so I'm not going to be around here as much. I will be from time to time, of course, just didn't want to disappoint you all with my lack of bass related diversions..

When you look back and realise you've topped the frets weekly chart 3 weeks in a row, it's probably time to post less, visit here less, have a break, and get on with some real life projects that have come along..!

when you say "posting less but not flouncing" I assume you mean other than in the thread you created to let us know you'll be posting a lot less, cos in that thread (or, indeed, this thread) you've posted loads.

I know, I know, I know..

I started a thread because I know a lot of people on here through PM etc. and didn't want them thinking I was ignoring them/dead etc..

I posted an ad. in the Personnel classifieds a while back and I've had some really interesting offers for projects and I'm going to run with a few of them. It's going to mean a lot of spare-time writing/recording etc. and I have been working out how much spare time I have and what I do with it. 

I totalled up how many posts I make here - and how much time I spent on here. It was, frankly, frightening. Weekly hours on here? About 30. 

I'm really excited by the projects I've got lined up and I want to put as much time as I can into them. 30 hours a week is an awful lot that I can use in a much more productive way. So I'm cutting it right down. I'm only here now because I got a notification of a PM, and look - another half an hour gone (!) 

You can take the piss all you like, but I have some great friends on here who I wanted to keep informed. I'm trying, honestly I am. I will post from time to time, but 30ish posts a day has to stop.
