Makes me nervous......

when I look at a video of a guitar demo, an instruction piece or a player playing a cover of a song and the player does not use a strap on his guitar.  As per title, this 'no strap' playing makes me nervous.  No reason why it should as it is his guitar that will be damaged if it slipped and fell........
