Any body using the '59 in the bridge position of a set neck gibson style guitar (SG/ DC/ Junior)?

Really looking for 90'd rock tones like Baby Chaos, 3 Colours Red, Idlewild.

I have Seymour Duncan SH1 '59's in the neck & bridge of my Epiphone Sheraton II (set neck, very similar to a Gibson 335).  Not familiar with the bands you mentioned, but for the blues and classic rock I play, they are superb - the '59's are based on the original Gibson 335 pickups.  Gratuitous pic below:

I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

Baby Chaos? Wow that brings back memories. I had a shock last month when I was looking for the tab for 3CR's Nuclear Holiday and it turned out I was the one who actually transcribed it when I was a kid... the Internet never forgets.

Re 59, I thought McCormack played hotter pickups?

Chris, played a 70's les paul, and a marshall.. that was pretty much it dont think he changed any of the pickups unless Duncan did (his guitar tech).. I can ask him when I see him in June at the camden festival. But if you like bands like that give my band a listen.
