I start a new job on the 2nd May so I've plenty of time on my hands in the meantime - offer is genuine, I'm more than happy to help - call it karma for all those who've helped me in the past - I gig in a covers band and have a strong computing background with traditional pedalboard /  AXE FX experience - so should be able to get something going with your BOSS amp + built in fx / online patches etc ..
