Monson Nomad #9 - Black with Oil City Pickups
I'm selling my Monson Nomad. its a hand built guitar from the US, the fit and finish is amazing. Features a Cherry body and maple/rosewood neck. Its 24.75 scale, when playing it, it feels like a really well balanced SG guitar, with a little more weight.
The pickups are double cream Oil City, the bridge is an Alnico 8 and the neck is Alnico 5. Both pickups are medium/hot wound with coil split functionality. The tones from these pickups is astounding, versatile for both cleans and mid to high gain, maintain clarity and has a full response - never muddy or harsh.
The combination of the pickups and the guitar make for a bit of beast...somewhere between an LP and SG - the lively rawness of an SG and the girth and power of an LP.
I will provide a generic hardcase for the guitar as well.
Price is GBP600 + shipping (ONO)
