Apple MainStage - anyone use it?

Late to this one - came across it at the weekend and am ridiculously impressed. For under £30 you get all the content from Logic (instruments, synths, plugins) to create live performance setups.

With Helix being its own audio/midi interface my mind is now running amok as to what is possible...
Red ones are better.

  • So long as you use stuff that won't add latency it'll be fun. The effects and synths are all pretty decent, the only thing I don't like so much are the amp sims - not a problem if you've got a Helix!

I've not used Mainstage since it became an add on to Logic X (it was part of all previous Logic versions I've owned). I now have a project in Logic X with my practise patches set up for guitar and bass, a bus with some stereo delay on it when I fancy it, backing tracks, and some metronome loops in 4/4 and 6/8.

I use it all the time in the studio, especially for playing keys via a controller.
    It is nifty.
