Pricing pickups I'm considering removing...

Hello all,

I've a set of Oil City Masterwound Blackbirds (clear covers) in a guitar and think I'll have an easier job sticking the original pickups back in it and selling the pickups separately.  I've always struggled with working out prices on pickups - and these very rarely come up used.

Any thoughts?  Other than, "I'll give you £10."

When you brought them new it looks like they were similarly priced to BKP humbuckers? Mules tend to go for around £130 ish?

I wouldn't expect resale to be as high as BKP's.   


That's not a comment on quality at all, just the market for second hand BKP's is much larger.

I'd be tempted to put something at around 60% or so.  I'm not sure if I made that figure up but I think I might have seen percentage attached for listing sales before.
