WTB lightweight solid Les Paul. £2,000 budget.

I'm after a nice, solid Les Paul/similar singlecut that's had no weight relief or chambering.  Fat necks preferred. I missed out on a stunning old LS 80 late last year and want a nice authentic guitar of a similar vibe. Nothing garish or with active pickups.
A nice flame or plain top would be fine, as would a nice Goldtop. 
The weight requirement is just a preference for lighter guitars of this type. 
Budget of £2,000.

Not an expert, but I'd imagine that any Les Paul/Singlecut that qualifies as lightweight will have some kind of weight relief, whether the manufacturers draw attention to it or not.

I think 'lightweight' is relative when it comes to Les Pauls and probably suggests guitars in the 8.5 to 8.8 lbs range. Those are pretty easy to come by when you get up to R9s and R0s, and they don't have any weight relief.

Black Schecter Custom Shop Strat with Fralins and a 59 in the bridge. £1000 - as in existing thread. More Tom Anderson than Suhr. Killer.

Candy Apple Red Classic Players 60's (the best out of literally dozens that I tried). Upgraded with Dimarzio Blues, Heavy Blues and Virtual Solo with the middle tone now wired to the bridge. Mint. £550.

Well it's comparative....I remember buying my LP standard a few years ago (cheaper than yours but still a lot of money for me at the time) it seemed a lot...then I would sit down and plug it in, then it didn't seem like much at all

I compared it to several. A few had a bit more low end, but this was so much more open and dynamic. Perhaps a bit more mellow.

Neck pickup with the volume on 2-3 rings like a bell. One of the 59's had the ballsiest rock tone I've ever heard, but only really sounded good with everything on 10.

At the risk of sounding a bit cliche, this one sounds more like what I imagine a late 50s LP to sound like. Very full, but sweeter and more balanced. Perhaps a little less power but it really sings. Still an awful lot of money, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to consolidate my rig a bit. That and I've never had a really nice Les Paul!

I had an 11lb dog of a Standard, and still have a Tokai with strange construction which is a great hard rock guitar.

Will post more pics and possibly videos when I get it.
